Description
Traditional CAMA systems are constructed around a set of annual records that represent thestate of each property for each year in a reappraisal cycle. A true effective date system as utilized in the NC Collaborative Property Tax System (NCPTS)* and Arist CAMA, creates new records for properties only when an event triggers a value change on the property. The presenters will walk attendees through how using this innovative approach in a CAMA system creates opportunities increased accuracy, effectiveness, and overall better reappraisals.
