Consultation is increasingly becoming a critical part of the valuation process for business and industrial properties and well-designed engagement can support better information exchange and, ultimately, support well-informed and sound assessments. This session will provide a look at the new engagement framework the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) will be implementing to support its Assessment Update of more than 5 million properties in 2020 as well as the challenges and benefits of engagement.
