Brief Session Description
This presentation will discuss the development of a system that utilized modern technology to assist in the initial damage assessment of Bay County Florida following the landfall of Hurricane Michael. This process was a collaboration of the public and private sectors in an effort to provide the greatest assistance in the shortest amount of time, all while doing so remotely from the damaged area. We were able to engage multiple offices across the state to help our fellow Property Appraiser, processing over 32,000 properties in 12 days.
