AssessR: A New Tool from the Cook County Assessor

The Cook County Assessor’s Chief Data Officer Rob Ross will present a new R package, AssessR, and show how assessors can use it to perform ratio studies, look for sales chasing, and more. AssessR was developed as part of the Cook County Assessor’s New CAMA system, built on free, open source software. It contains a growing suite of helpful tools to streamline and standardize ratio studies. It is available to the public for free, and it’s source code is public. In this webinar, Rob will demonstrate how to open and read data into R, and use AssessR to calculate ratio statistics.
