2017 IAAO Annual Legal Seminar

Recuriting and retaining women, minorities, and the next generation: Can your organization afford not to?

Presenter Information

Rebecca M. Speno Esq.
Randy Ripperger CAE
Nora Devine Esq.

Start Date

8-12-2017 2:00 PM

End Date

Description

Many firms, government offices, and voluntary associations lack diversity in the ranks of their workforce and membership. If the average age of the people in your office is over 60, what does that mean for the future? What is the wage gap between men and women in your profession? What initiatives are being employed to keep professionals from dropping out of your profession after starting a family? What, if anything, is being done to make your firm or organization relevant and appealing to the younger generation? Is your firm, government office, or association incorporating minority employees or members commensurate with existing demographics in your geographic region?
