General Session Description
This seminar introduces the concepts and practices of AI valuation, AI Image Judgement and AI Data Collection. The concepts and topics of AVM, ML, GenAI, and Big Data are presented. Participants will learn the distinction between traditional CAMA modeling and AI valuation. The principles of data mining, machine learning, artificial neural networks and deep learning will be discussed. Questions will be raised about the validity of current CAMA variables we currently use to determine value. A recent case study will be presented comparing traditional data collection, valuation review and valuation modeling versus AI Technology. Performance statistics of traditional approaches versus AI technology will be presented. In a classroom game participants will be able to pit their grade and condition judgement ratings against the prowess of AI image detection technology. In the end, suggestive conclusions will be drawn about the effectiveness and drawbacks of AI.
