This is part 1 of a two part presentation. In April 2019, the Cook County Assessor published the code that powers its residential CAMA software. Chief Data Officer Rob Ross will outline how the Data Science department uses GitLab to manage its workflow and increase transparency at the Assessor’s office. Rob will discuss how GitLab supports an Agile DevOps environment that is both inexpensive and effective. In part 2 of this presentation (Show Me the Numbers! How to Build Intelligence Dashboards for your Office), Dan Snow will discuss projects recently completed using this system.
