The Appraisal and Valuation Services Office of the U.S. Department of Interior is nearing completion of a landmark mass appraisal effort to value lands of Tribal Nations as a result of a Supreme Court decision. The session explains how the federal government used MRA and GIS and will describe the models used and the distance, elevation, and other location variables extracted through GIS that contributed to success of the program.
