Brief Session Description
The evolution of local government assessment has seen tremendous changes with regard to mapping, property inspections, valuation protests, as well as payments over the last several decades. There has been a shift from conducting processes in person through paper, to more advanced online workflows that provide tremendous efficiencies and time savings. This session will provide a lighthearted but informative look at the evolution of these systems, and provide insights on the impacts they have had on the taxpayer relationship.
