Incorporating multiple regression modeling into the residential appraisal involves two distinct core disciplines. Many appraisers see the value of modeling, but lack the skills and tools to properly implement this concept. This presentation will describe the process used by the Lubbock Central Appraisal District to implement modeling to predict residential values and highlight the benefits and uses of completed models.
