Abstract
For indirect equalization, the median and weighted mean may not be the best measures of central tendency for small and mid-size jurisdictions. The median-weighted mean and the square root-weighted mean are introduced as alternatives and analyzed using six hypothetical jurisdictions constructed from actual sales data.
