About This Journal
Assessment Journal, the membership periodical of the International Association of Assessing Officers, served a diverse audience of practitioners and others interested in assessment administration, property tax policy, and appraisal. The Journal was committed to publishing articles from each of the many disciplines in the assessment field: law, administration, single-property appraisal, mass appraisal, mapping and geographic information systems, personal property, and statistics. Assessment Journal was published bimonthly from 1994 to 2003. It was replaced by Journal of Property Tax Assessment & Administration.
