Do infill properties and major property improvements create externalities that affect property taxes?

Abstract

This study investigates the potential valuation concerns that arise within communities when infill properties are constructed. The purposes of this study were to address potential price effects of infill properties on surrounding properties and to gauge the amount of building permit activity occurring after infill has been built.
