Abstract
This article seeks to document many of the ad hoc heuristics and practices (“tricks,” as they are sometimes called) that CAMA “experts” sometimes use initially to prevent problems from ever entering the models, or that they sometimes use subsequently to refine problematic models by iteratively removing those problems.
