This presentation will provide background and issues regarding "bondable leases" and whether they are part of real property or may have similar investment characteristics to a bond form of investment. We will follow up on the interconnection of leased properties and the IAAO's Fee Simple paper, and how these issues should be treated in the real world. Some litigation examples and past case law implications will be included from court-tested experts.
