The presentation will begin with a discussion of the benefits of having an IAAO study for a jurisdiction’s assessment office and will continue with how the study provided a road map for moving the office forward. The presenter will use Petersburg, Virginia as a case study and discuss how his team moved beyond the study and adopted the vision of becoming a model assessment office with the goal of achieving the Certificate of Excellence in Assessment Administration.
