A common theme in the assessment industry is the lack of understanding by the public of the true role of assessments. In 2014, Riley County, Kansas began a concerted effort to present factual information using presentations, videos and social media. This presentation will give examples of the public relations issues faced, solutions used and the positive results seen from the efforts to embrace public relations.
